"EXCEL PURE" enhances the adherence with base material and forms nano-sized unevenly shaped film on the surface of base materials. This film gradually changes the refractive index and enhances the light transmission of base material.
The refractive index of air is different from that of base materials. If the surface of material is flat, the angle of reflection increases.
Part of Silica ingredients in EXCEL PURE sinks into the surface of base material. It enhances the adherence with material and forms nanometer sized uneven shaped coating film on the surface of base material.
This coating film changes the refractive index of base material gradually and prevent the reflection of light, enhancing the light transmission.
■Apply "EXCEL PURE" to Clear Acrylic panel and measure the initial light transmission.
The light transmittance of coated panel increased by an average of 2.8%(1100~360nm), compared to the one which the agent was not applied.
It was confirmed that the coating film enhances the light transmittance from early stage.
